The assault resulted in the temporary shutdown of the CTA tunnel and the T3 parking area.

Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was arrested in the Lambeth area on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests come after a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, two women were robbed of their luggage upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people went to hospital for treatment and have since been released.

Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were alerted at about 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The assault - which police said was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
